Robert O'Driscoll and Elizabeth Elliot on Global Population Problems

In 1938, the Committee on Population Problems (part of the National Resources Committee) recommended in its report to President Roosevelt that appropriate legislative action should be taken regarding global population problems. The NRS stated that 'transition from an increasing to a stationary or decreasing population may on the whole be a benefit to the life of the nation.'
