We’ve lost certain ancient myths, or connection to the world as mythical. But we’re still living myth. We can’t ever step outside of a myth. We’re in one now in television. Television is a myth. To declare a myth only something that people tell each other around a campfire, or dance naked to, or paint themselves purple. That’s not the whole story of myth. Myth is whatever captures your imagination and moves your language and your body into doing things in certain ways. So, we’re always in myth.
